​SOS/RMC is seeking individuals willing to volunteer for various positions.

Available positions are:

On site Counselors/Case Managers:
This position consists of identifying, assessing, prioritizing and assisting clients with the following:

Work history/experience
Education
Drug history
Financial obligations (fines, child support, etc.)
Obtain necessary identification documents
Family origin and dynamics
Driving record
Credit report
Health Insurance
Food Stamp Assistance

Following assessment, Counselor/Case Manager will refer to necessary agency or program that will meet the needs of the client.
Counselor/Case Manager and Client will meet weekly to discuss accomplishments as well as establish both short and long term goals.


Job Placement Specialist/Coach:
Specialist will be responsible to work with client in completing a job skills questionnaire and an employment history application. Specialist will evaluates client’s skills and design an enhancement plan to match the client’s goals and marketability. Specialist will also prepare and coach the client in job search techniques including resumes, interviewing, appropriate dress for interviews, job leads, etc.

Program Coordinator:
This position is responsible for designing, developing and updating programs to meet client’s needs. Programs will range from educational, life skills, Healthy Diet and Exercise, Understanding Healthy Relationships, Substance Abuse and Recovery Lifestyles, Relapse Prevention, Effective Parenting, Basic Finance/Budgeting Program, Culinary Class, Save-N-Ride (saving for transportation), Bible Classes with certifications of study, and Inner-healing through Restoring the Foundations and Theophostic Prayer Ministry.

Financial Advisor: 
Responsible for providing assistance in clearing outstanding debt and improving credit. Advisors will also work with clients to establish budgets and encourage saving.
